At a reading at Qwien, women writers of the ≠igfem present texts that engage with the realities of women’s lives, social power relations and feminist visions of the future. Moving between literature and political reality, the texts open up spaces for dissent, remembrance, resistance and solidarity.

Drawing on the findings of the European project EPESEP – Equal Pay, Equal Show, Equal Pension, the reading takes up questions of visibility, economic justice and the working conditions of women writers. Which stories are told? Who is heard? And under what conditions is literature created?

The reading is part of the ≠igfem’s literary and socio-political engagement: as a disruptive force against existing inequalities and as an invitation to discover feminist perspectives in all their diversity.
