Die Frauen-AG der \u00d6sterreichische Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Exilforschung (\u00f6ge) l\u00e4dt zur internationalen Konferenz <\/strong><\/em>Doing Gender in Exile<\/strong> ein, die von 18.-20. Oktober 2017 in der Aula am Campus der Universit\u00e4t Wien stattfinden wird.<\/strong><\/em>

Die aus \u00d6sterreich vertriebene Filmregisseurin Erica Anderson war im Exil Teil eines queeren Netzwerks.<\/p><\/div>
\nIn der Exilforschung ist in den letzten Jahren der Gender-Aspekt verst\u00e4rkt in den Fokus der Forschung ger\u00fcckt. Daher soll\u00a0 mit dem Thema Doing Gender in Exile<\/em> das Exil als Labor f\u00fcr die Transformation von Geschlechtlichkeit und sexuellen Identit\u00e4ten neu in den Blick genommen werden. Unter Exilbedingungen k\u00f6nnen Menschen wesentliche Handlungsr\u00e4ume verlieren, aber auch gewinnen \u2013 und solch eine Neupositionierung im \u00f6ffentlichen wie im privaten Raum kann Konstruktionen und Haltungen im Zusammenhang mit eigener und fremder Geschlechtlichkeit ver\u00e4ndern. Gerade im Kontext der Exilforschung wurden diese Prozesse noch immer nicht ausreichend beachtet und analysiert.
\nDoing Gender in Exile<\/em> soll das Forschungsfeld f\u00fcr neue theoretische Impulse seitens der Gender Studies, der transnationalen Geschlechtergeschichte und der Migrationsforschung \u00f6ffnen.
\nDas Organisationsteam freut sich auf Einsendungen von (Nachwuchs-)Wissenschafter_innen aus allen Disziplinen in den Tagungssprachen Deutsch und Englisch.
\nEingereicht werden k\u00f6nnen Abstracts (max. 1.500 Zeichen) f\u00fcr Beitr\u00e4ge von ca. 20 Minuten gemeinsam mit einem Kurz-CV bis 31. Oktober 2016.
